Location: Located in the central part and in the west side of South America.

Religion: Mainly Catholic, but there are many.
Population: 25 millions aprox.
Surface: 1'285,216 km2.
Official currency: Nuevo Sol.
Capital: Lima (154 m.s.l.)
The origin of the people and cultures from the Andes is a theme that still is object of discussion, according to the present state of the archaeological investigations, the first human settlements in the present Peruvian territory should have appeared in the year 15000 b.c.
It has three geographical regions very marked:
Coast : Desert Zone with more than 40 valleys watered by the rivers that descend from the Andes.
Highlands (Andean Zone): Crossed from south to north by the Andes mountain range, reaching heights of 6700, m. s. l.
Amazon Region(Jungle): Crossed by the copious Amazonas river, the flora and fauna of this region are considered the richest of the world.
Peru is a welcoming country as well for the people as for its zones, since your arrival you will feel a human heat waiting to offer and show you everything what you need and everything in our possibilities; All this is just an example of what you can enjoy in your visit to Peru, without forgetting its varied folklore expressed in dances and in typical costumes and not to mention the gastronomy. It has been called “The Lost City of the Incas”, because it was a mystery until it was discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911. The Historical Sanctuary Macchu Picchu is not only invaluable archaeologically, but it is also associated to a very rich fauna and flora. In 1983 it was declared by UNESCO as Cultural and Natural Patrimony of the Humanity.
